Well, I did watch that, and tried it twice, but I'll just install the updated script, rather than keep on whitepaging the site

The 1.8 version cured the jquery error shown in subject.
For now I've disabled the fb plugin...

Sorry - I hadn't updated the download area with version 2.3 of the plugin.

BUT I wonder if you may be loading a different version of the facebook SDK. I had to change the setPersistentData method to get it to work properly but if you have something else loading another version then the JEvents version will not get loaded.

I only have two applications on FB, one is for Jevents, the other is AutoTweet.
The AutoTweet has just been updated to 6.3.3, I wonder if that is making it act up...

I'll take another look at the plugin to see if I can get it to run with no modifications to the facebook sdk files.

I updated it, if I deactivate the JEVFB plugin it shows the joomla settings correctly, and of course warns in an additional window, that the plugin is deactivated.
Do you want me to make a copy of my site for you to test in?

Can you try the version here viewtopic.php?f=23&t=16673 - I put the facebook SDK into a separate namespace to avoid a clash with AutoTweet
