Translate date on mod_jevents_latest not work with Joomfish

Why the date didn't work with Joomfish that translated the date on mod_jevents_latest?

See http://www.jevents.net/jevents-15-topme ... nts-module - use a date format that uses the strftime version i.e. the ones with % at the start.

I'm not sure how can I uses the strftime version to show a Chinese date wording.
This is the code I used in module:
<span style="color: #666666;">${startDate(D j M Y)}[!a: - ${endDate(%I:%M%p)}]</span><br>${title}
Could you tell me what should I use of these custom formatting strings?

done use D j M Y use format values from http://php.net/manual/en/function.strftime.php e.g. %a or %b
