at a guess the joostrap plugin used jQuery and hasn't put it in noconflict mode.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for your reply. Sorry not to respond earlier but the notification didn't appear to work.
I don't understand your question - how do I know if it's from the component or a menu item?
When I disable Joostrap the calendar pop up works as expected. When I enable it the calendar doesn't. I don't have Chrome, but have got Firefox so the Console error shown there is copied below:
Geraint - should I suggest that they recode the module to use jQuery in noconflict mode?
Thanks for your help.

If there isn't a config option in the module already then yes.

Thanks for your help.
The guys at Joostrap suggested installing a JQuery library plugin, to control the load of scripts.
http://www.joomlabamboo.com/joomla-exte ... ery-plugin
Interestingly it doesn't solve the problem for the cookie control, but one of its own features doesn't work on any Jevents pages (it has a 'back to top' feature, which doesn't load on Jevents pages but does for other components - Kunena, CB etc). Should I worry about that?
I'll go back to Joostrap for further ideas, but thought you might want to know that there is a conflict with Jevents and a plugin that is trying to stop conflicts!
Thanks
Chris.
