Google ICS import with same start & end time spans to 2 days

Hi,
When importing an iCal event with the same start and end time for the same day, it is treated as a multi-day event, that is the event spans to the next day for some reason. I tested the component even with Joomla 2.5.2 and JEvents 2.1.11.
I am using a custom module to import the ICal events from a desktop application and upload it to the calendar on a daily basis. I tried importing the events from Google, as Google allow us to create and import events with the same start and end date and time.
Also another thing I noticed. I created an event manually in JEvents with the same start and end time. Then iCal exported it from the front-end of the website. Now again when I re-imported it to JEvents, the event shows in two days.
Could you tell me if there is any way I could manage this from the admin or other ways to solve this issue. As I am getting the data extracted from some external source, I have got little control on that.
Really appreciate your hard work on this component.
Thank you very much for your support.

What time of day does it start and end?
What timezone settings do you have for Joomla and JEvents

Thank you for the quick reply.
The event start and end at 09:00 AM.
The time zone settings are as follows:
Joomla Admin->Configure->Server->Server Timezone : London
JEvents->Configuration->Component->Time zone for site: Europe/London
JEvents->Configuration->Ical Import/Export->Time zone for your server: Europe/London
Please note that our server (windows) located in a 1and1 server, I think it is in Germany. But the timezone on the server is set to London as well.
Thank you.

I ve got the same problem for a couple of days. I import the events from csv to goole and from goole to jevents (as the version of jevents of the site laberlinesa.es does not allow csv import and updated crashed). I have done this procedure until two weeks ago without any problem. What could be the reason. Timezone is always Berlin.
Thanks a lot!

Hello,
Have you set the timezone in the Import configuration of Jevents and the Main Config as well as in Joomla!
Also, check your google calendar timezone.

Has anyone solved this problem? I have almost the exact same issue. I'm importing an ICS from Pointstreak and the start and end dates and times are identical. The times all end in Z (which I would guess is for ZULU).
The Time Zone set in Jevents is set to America/New York.
Using Jevents 2.2.5 in Joomla 1.5.26 (and yes looking to update this to Joomla 2.5 soon).

Time Zone in Joomla/Server page is set to (UTC -05:00) Eastern Time (US& Canada), Bogota, Lima
JEvents Config/Component as well as Ical Import/Export Time Zone is set to America/New_York
Does the fact that they have slightly different wording have an effect?

There are 26 events in the ICS file. Here is the code from the start of the file and the first two events:
