This module needs the Events component error

JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

This module needs the Events component error

Postby tdav20 » Thu Sep 27, 2012 4:23 pm

I have the newest version of JEvents installed for Joomla 1.5, as well as the updated modules.

I am able to enter events and see them in my Latest Events module on my home page.

When I click a link from the module or go directly to the calendar, I get get a blank page with the following error when trying to open the event's link:

Events Calendar
This module needs the Events component.
Please configure it first, if it is already installed.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
