Synching with PDA/smartphone
JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

as i understand you correct. I have to get a file from the export ical (it is an *.ics file) on my joomla site.
Next step is to import the file into Google calendar.
there is no syn between joomla site and google calendar, correct?
I saw you talking about a link/URL (instead of an export file)

Hello john,
There is a sync it's called using the url and setting up a cron job depending on the way you want to pull/import events.

you can see some discussion about users frustrated with how often google requests updated information. I have found that other requestors (yahoo, hotmail, etc.) allow you to select an "update now" link as well as have different update frequencies.

How users can stay calm with such a google schedule... Maybe you are right and yahoo is the best option

Ill becoming a memeber and use this
http://www.jevents.net/en/home-topmenu- ... one-layout
will make it easier for me to use my Joomla website with Jevents on it and synchronise it with my smartphone (Samsung GIO) without using Google Agenda as "convertor"
Or is this a solution for viewing my Joomla Jevents calender directkly on my smartphone?
http://www.ijoomer.com/
thx

I think iJoomler build a smartphone app for you.
The smartphone layout (http://www.jevents.net/en/home-topmenu- ... one-layout) is a webpage presentation of JEvents that fit with a mobile Joomla website (e.g. from MobileJoomla or your template provider).
CalDav is a native interface between your smartphone/desktop calendar application and your JEvents site.
So 3 different things - hope that makes sense
