May 5th bug
JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

May 5th bug
by enrique53 » Fri May 18, 2012 3:21 pm
I have a client who reported , adding an event to the default calendar on May 5th (saturday) and the event shows up on May 3rd Thursday. This was Jevents 1.5.5.g on Joomla 1.5
I repeated this problem personally yesterday.
Very strange.
Any Ideas on why?
Thanks

Was this a single or a repeating event?

Did you unpublish the event - I don't see it now?
It could be a CSS issue with the club layout - are you using the most up to date version of the ruthin layout?

You don't see the event because its private/
I'll check the layout versions.
So far this has only happened on one date so CSS seems unlikely.
This calendar is very busy many events.
I'll see about making the event public/
or I'll just make you registered.

OK I have more info.
When I log in the event shows on the wrong date when I make the calendar public and I am public it shows up on the correct date.
to see the effect you will need a log in.
or I can screen shot and send along.
Link to calendar in public mode.

The issue is an interaction between the specific combination of events you have visible and the CSS that controls their layout.
Can you send me login details via PM so I can see the event in context and can then figure out what minor CSS tweak is required to get it to display correctly
