Modifying latest module
JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.
Forum rules
Please include as much detail in any test or bug reports for JEvents 1.5 as possible.

You set 'view mail' to 'no'? With no it should just give the name and not the mailto link

Hi Geraint
I am wondering if I need to reverse something we did earlier as if I set 'view mail' to no it reverts back to displaying username. If I set 'view mail' to yes, it displays the name but it is hyperlinked with email address.
Thanks for all your help - best component ever!

Hello reditech,
You have just missed of the change for the mail.
This is going to be incorporated in the next release of JEvents, I have put it in as an option under Event Detail in the JEvents Config.
Regards
Tony

in the meantime in the file components/com_jevents/libraries/jeventshtml.php and change line 634 (ish) from
$contactlink = $userdet->username;
to
$contactlink = $userdet->name;
and make sure view mail is off.
