Restrict access to component?
JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

Restrict access to component?

Users are either managers, administrators, or super administrators. Is there a way to restrict changes to the categories to just super administrators? We have a custom html key for categories and recently an administrator went in & changed their color, so now we have to change the html key.
Thanks, Kiki

Is this in Joomla 1.5 or 2.5?
Do your managers/administrators need to access JEvents in the backend? Can they use the frontend instead to manage events?

Hi, 1.5 Joomla.
The users need to go through the back end for other components. Is there anyway to block them from the JEvents in the backend?
Thanks, Kiki
