SOLVED - Can not add an event with 2.0.10 on 1.7

Ok what about plugins?
As soon as I visited that page:
Firebug showed.
Google Chrome however, shows possible permission errors on your server:
So it appears you have some server permission issues, can you download Akeeba Admin tools and use the file permissions fix to see if that solves your problems.

i have had this problem since day 1. this was the first thing i installed. the site is further along now just because i could not wait anymore.
