About Translations

Hi,
I've installed the last RC of 1.5 Jevents on my joomla 1.5.10 and have modified the language file en-GB.com_jevents.ini in language subdirectory with Italian terms and phrases but without result. All Jevents pages and module continue to be in english... how can I do to have an Italian version of it?
