error message setup

Postby tscholl » Wed Nov 09, 2011 4:31 pm

We are new to JEvents. When we go in to create an event, we are getting the following error message. I'm assuming this is why no one can click on the link in their invitation.
•Could not find the file 'template.css' in the template or templates/system folder.
•The css file '/templates/system/css/editor.css' is being used instead.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Have a look in your user profile, backend-editor which is selected?

Also what version of Joomla are you using?

I hope that's Joomla 1.5.24? not 1.5.4!!

Go to your user manager, and select your account you will see Front end Editor and Backend Editor.

Regards
Tony

It shows manager-administrator-super administrator. I can set up the event and email the invitations out. But when the invitees click the link it either pops up for them to log in and shows error or will just show this message: Sorry - This item may have been updated while you have been viewing the webpage. Please try again

Yes, we can email the invites out after setting up the event. We purchased a package of JEvents.

So you have setup Jevents now?

What username did you purchase this package under? or was it some time ago and you have an old version of this plugin?

Thanks
