other googlemap extenstion compatibility

Hi

We are using global googlemap generators such as GEocodeFactory or GEoContent Plus.

Theses extensions allow to display googlemap markers from several sources (contents, adsmanager , sobipro, ....)

Is there a way to display the Jevents location inside these global extension ?

For instance if JEvents events were connected to a Joomla Content, I could add the GeoContent Plus tag inside it so that it will be displayed on the global map as long with other markers from other extensions.

Do these tools have a plugin interface to allow components to give them information about locations to display?

GeocodeFActory is a component that retrieves data from the database I think. there is no plugin associated.

I don't know for GeoContent Plus

There must be a way to add geocodes to anything in joomla and display them in an unifed map.

may be a CCK is the only way though

A CCK type solution would be the only one I can think of unless the geomapping addon had an interface to allow locations to be associated with many content types.

I don't know of anything that offers that at present.
