Upgrade?

Postby bnisevic » Fri Oct 21, 2011 12:30 pm

Is there any free documentation how to upgrade to a new version?
I'm trying just to install new package (2.0.7) in 'Extension Manager' but during process I get 500 error message. Tried both packages zip and tar.gz
Previously I had JEvents 2.0.5 installed and even I didn't finished installation completely now in JEvents Config is written that I have v2.0.7
I don't want to go off topic, but main reason why I searched for upgrade is that I couldn't find the option to enable overlapping events. When I try to save an event which has similar date/time period with another event I get message how overlapping events aren't allowed. Also in JEvents Category Manager I can't open 'Options' lightbox window, I don't know if it is supposed to work like that.

I'm sorry, I found that overlapping events can be allowed by checking 'No' for 'Check for specific conflicting events before saving?' and 'Check for any conflicting events before saving?'. This is bit confusing because the error message talks about "overlapping events" not "conflicting events". Maybe, I don't understand this right. Also the upgrade issue which I mentioned above still remains.
