Nothing happends after save

When I create a new event and click on the save button... It saved my event, but there nothing happends anymore and only see a white screen. How can I solve this issue so after saving an event, I will redirect to the homepage or to the page for creating a new event?

Is this on the front end you are saving an event?

What version are you running? what version of joomla are you running? Do you have mootools upgrade installed and enabled?

Yes I am saving at the frontend.

I am using jevents 2.03 with Joomla 1.6.6.

I don;t see mootools upgrade installed in my joomla 1.6 Where can I download it? I search on the internet and with extensions.joomla.org, but I can't find it for joomla 1.6

mootools upgrade is only needed in Joomla 1.5

Do you see any javascript error messages in your javascript error console in Firefox or Chrome.

I see this in the javascript error console:


Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'close' of undefined
(anonymous function)

Both lines in de te index.php:2

Could be a problem with your editor - which one are you using? Have you tried a different editor or no-editor at all as a test?

I am using JCE with Jevents 2.0.4. If I change my editor to tinyMCE I still have the same problem.

might not help but try clearing your own cache.

I realised what your problem is - you are using popup event editing and have also created a menu item for creating events.

This is not generally possible but there is a workaround - see http://www.jevents.net/en/jevents-15-to ... nt-editing or disable popup event editing
