Calendar fields not working on IE
JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

Calendar fields not working on IE
by adroussel » Thu Sep 29, 2011 9:59 pm
Hello
I'm using Jevent 1.5.5 on joomla 1.5
Calendar fields javascript date picker doesn't work on IE. Is this just me? It seems also on IE the associated textfield is not readonly so maybe it's disabled on purpose on IE...?
Isn't there any fix for this yet? This is really required.
Thank you for your help

First I would advise using jevents 2.0.
now... if the date picker is not working sounds like it could be a template issue!
use firefox with firebug and see if it picks up any issues! like 2 jquery's loading can canceling each other out.
Also please make sure mootools in installed and enabled.

I'm still having an issue with the popup date picker not working in ie9, I'm using Joomla 1.5. I've tried the mootools plugins, and using the default calendar, but I don't see any errors on my page.
Thanks,
Ben

Hi Ben
I can take a look at this on Monday when I return from vacation (I only have my MacBook with me at the moment)

I just tested this on my development server running Joomla 1.5 and using MSIE 9 (x64) I didn't see any problems.
Can you send me login details for your specific site (via PM) so I can take a look.
