PHP Fatal Error

Hi there,
I got a strange problem. I get this error when I activate the Latest JEvents module (2.0.0 RC 13) on Joomla 1.7:
PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /var/www/virtual/xxx/components/com_jevents/libraries/commonfunctions.php on line 29
I figured out some kind of conflict with the module "Blank module". When I deactivate that, I don't get the error. And vice versa, when I deactivate Latest JEvents, the error does also not appear.
Can you help me?
TNX

Can you please try to upgrade your JEvents install to the latest 2.0 version?

Is there anything I can do to help find the problem?
I really would like to use both modules...

Hi patboots!!
I meant upgrade to the 2.0 Stable version. I think the RC13 version was developed before Joomla! 1.7 and it might be possible that this error is solved on the latest version.
