Planned free download of jEvents 2.0 ?
by TpS » Wed Apr 06, 2011 6:52 am
Hello.
Using jEvents 1.5.5 on Joomla 1.5 right now at a site for an non-profit organization. Since we don´t have the money for a Club membership, is there a release-plan för making the jEvents 2.0 a free download?
It´s the superior event-calender and I really need it when I upgrade to Joomla 1.6.
Thanks for a great work!
Greetings Markus

I expect the stable Club release at the end of April/early May and the free release towards the end of July.

Dear Geraint,
thank you for great work! I'm also planning to update my Joomla 1.5 to 1.6. In April you announced a free release of JEvents 2.0 for July. I would like to know if expect to keep this plan?
Thanks a lot!
Dennis

I'll probably do the release at about the time Joomla 1.7 is released or end-July which ever is earliest.

Joomla 1.7 has now been officially released. So, what about the free download of JEvents 2.0?

I have it ready to release - just a matter of enough time to do the uploads, explanatory articles etc. Give it a couple of days.
