Update to JEvents 1.5 on Joomla 1.5

I saw different topics on this matter but none gave me a definite answer.
I am updating my last 1.0 Joomla site, which uses JEvents 1.4.2.
How can i transport all data to JEvents 1.5.5 on Joomla 1.5?
Is there some kind of script or extension, or do i have to manually dump and restore SQL tables (with all due caution)?

Upgrade your JEvents to 1.4.3 and then migrate to 1.4.3 on Joomla 1.5 and then migrate to Jevents 1.5.5
