Creating Jevents for iphone or other mobile devices
JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

A couple of users have developed iPhone apps for their specific website needs but these are not generalised (or public).
I am planning a simplified interface for editing events on a 'smartphone' and may extend the club layouts to offer a 'smartphone' friendly presentation. This will take a few weeks though.

Hello Geraint, fantastic news, we look forward to our website users having possibly both, a mobile version and an APP.
Regarding the "non-public" APPS that you mentioned some people have created, would it be possible to see and pursue those?
Best regards,
Sean

Just so I know whether to try to work something out myself, is there any ETA on the smartphone-friendly presentation you mention above?

Hi Geraint, just want to check if there are any updates on the mobile devices compatibility. We are in good need of this feature.
Thanks!
