Registration form layout change..

Postby Tonyp » Tue Nov 16, 2010 7:30 pm

Could you implement it so that there is an option to show the registration form or instead of showing the form have a button saying "enter this event" and then the form is displayed?

You could implement this with javascript.

Wrap the form in a div with display:none style then add an onclick button/link that changes this style to display:block.

If that would work then I could put this together as a content plugin.

This example was in the list view but you could do the same for the detail page and you could use a different image instead of the [+] and [-] symbols. Then you could wrap the registration form.

I'll try to put it together as something that can be reused.

If you can that would be fantastic! saves people seeing the registration form all the time and you can actually see the registrations then :)

Can you try this content plugin.

Just wrap the bits you want to hide/reveal within
Code: Select all
{toggle}content to hide/reveal{/toggle}

Should work with Jevents and Joomla content items too.

If you want to use an image for the toggle icon you need to put in the full <img> tag.

Install and enable the content plugin then simply wrap the html content you want to toggle inside
Code: Select all
{toggle} ... {/toggle}
