Install problem
JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

Install problem

This is what i get when I install 1.5 alpha3.
JInstaller::install: The language file 'de-DE.com_jevents.ini' could not be installed because the Administrator language package for 'de-DE' has not been installed or does not exist.
After the installation I don't see the button to create a new event.

The language point is just a warning - can be ignored.
Did you create a category and calendar?

My Control Panel consists of the following options:
1. Manage iCAL Subscriptions
2. Manage iCAL Events Manage
3. Manage Categories
4. Authorised Users
5. Configuration
6. Convert Legacy Events
Yes I can create categories. But not calendar or event. When I installed the previous version Alpha2 I was able to create events..
let me know if you need any additional information.
Thx

Are you using the latest version from the first post in this forum - the cpanel titles have changed. Also a default calendar is created when you hit the new "setup database" icon.
