Missing Category Error
JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

Sorry - a few more stray jos_ in the code. I've done a global search now and I think with revision 1252 they should all be rounded up.
Geraint
p.s. I end up with the jos_ from testing my queries directly on the database and as opposed to in the code and I occasionally miss the jos_ when I put the queries back in the code.

At line 78 can in the file listed with the errors can you add
so that we can find out what is wrong with the query.
Geraint
- Code: Select all
echo $db->getErrorMsg(). "<br/>";
echo $db->_sql. "<br/>";
so that we can find out what is wrong with the query.

thanks for the VERY rapid response... I only wish I had registered and posted here sooner... the good news is that I know more about the joomla database than I did before
The 1252 update seems to have fixed my issues, although strangely when an Jevent code is on the same page as the com_fb_lates (latest posts from fireboard) it breaks the fireboard code

Bizzare is the only word I can think of.
I can't think there is any reason for this other than a clash in class names. Can you try disabling the modules to see if the problem goes away - if it does add them back in one at a time and we can try to find the clash (if there is one).

Updated to SVN 1252. I have no more problem with missing categories or new events not showing up. For me, this issue is fixed. Thanks!!

Which version of Fireboard are you using? I'll try to take a look.
