Expose url from ical feed as a link

Hi I'm using Jevents to show CiviEvents in a calendar. Its all working very well apart from in a CiviEvent there is a link to register (if the event requires registration.
This link is not in the exported ical feed. However the originating url is (example ical feed below) is there anyway of exposing the originating url as a link in the calendar popup? Otherwise this may be a showstopper.

Can you send me a URL of an ical export that includes this field so I can take a look - send via PM.

We should be able to append it to the extra_information field fairly easily. Would that work?

I took a look and realised that we are capturing the url field (it was code I wrote a long time ago) but it is not being displayed.

I have now added field this to the event detail layout editing screen in JEvents 1.5.5 and have just updated this version in the club download area.

I've upgraded to 1.55 from the members area but I still see no config option. Am I missing something?

In Jevents 1.5.5 the Jevents config is restricted to admin and super admin users.

What you want to look at is the layout editing tool - see http://www.jevents.net/en/jevents-15-to ... t-editing-

Using this you can include the event URL in the event output.

Yes I understand where am supposed to be editing now. However if I add the url {{URL:URL}} and then look at the event the url is still not seen.

Does the {{URL::URL}} get replaced with a blank space? You did upgrade to the latest 1.5.5 version?

Sorry for not getting back sooner but this was not as urgent as expected. No the "Does the {{URL::URL}} get replaced with a blank space?" does not get filled with a blank space. I'm using the latest version. Could I PM you with a couple of screenshots?

Did you enable the custom layout that you edited? The output screenshot looks like the standard layout.
