Add/Edit Event on JomSocial Activity Stream

Any chance of a JomSocial activity stream plug-in so that we get 'Geraint added a new {category} event, {title}' or 'Geraint updated the {category} event, {title}'

Also for when people register via the event reg plug-ins if that's not already done (haven't played with those yet!)

This was how EventList (RIP I think!) did JomSocial integration and it worked really well to help promote what events were out there.

The other aspect it did was to show JomSocial avatars of those who had registered for events on that event detail page.

So 3 aspects really:

1) Hit Activity Stream when Event Added / Edited
2) Hit Activity Stream when someone Registers
3) Show registered People on Event Detail Page

Activity stream is the first thing people look at so probably useful:

not sure about this as it might get in the way...jomsocial has a members section at the top of the page to display newest members, popular etc.
Ning.com does it in the activity stream though.

No. 1 useful...except for all my edits that would fill up the page.

By'Register' I meant to the event, not to Joomla / JomSocial itself... so you get 'Sarah just registered to the 10k Run' - which is a very strong community feature.

Organisers love it as it gives ongoing exposure to their events. Community Owners love it as it gives exposure to the online ability to register for things.

Event signup in jomsocial activity would be useful. I always see more people jump on board after they see others sign up.
