month.calendar issue on Internet Explorer
JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

month.calendar issue on Internet Explorer

Hi,
I'm an advanced user of Joomla, but it is the first time we use JEvents component.
I am quite happy about it, but we found a problem when displaying the month view. The error message corresponds to page not found. It only happen when using IE7 or IE8, with Firefox, Safari and Chrome works very well.
We are using Joomla 1.5.15 and JEvents 1.5.3. Looking in the forum i saw that someone had a problem with the sef, so I deactivate the sef, but the problem is still there.
The link is the following one:
http://www.elsiglo.cat/index.php?option ... &Itemid=58
Can anyone help me please?
Albert

I don't see this in MSIE 8 but do in MSIE 6.
The problem is in your template or modules. Try http://www.elsiglo.cat/index.php?option ... =component (no modules) or http://www.elsiglo.cat/index.php?option ... =component (different template).
Probably a bad use of javascript domready in mootools.

Hi,
Thanks, you are right. It was the template.
I commented out the javascript line and then it was fine.

Hello.
I have the exact same problem. Can you explain where you disabled the Javascrip? The "The problem is in your template or modules. Try<...>" from previous post doesn't help much since it opens a nice calendar.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for replying!
Sure: http://vatcar.org/website/index.php?option=com_jevents&Itemid=1&task=month.calendar&day=19&month=03&year=2010
Works fine on FF. IE7 and IE8 few times opens correctly, many times opens but with missing elements (calendar, row, columns etc) and most of times it gives the error mentioned by Mr. Moreno.
Thanks again.

It worked fine for me (so difficult to test).
Does these URLs always work http://vatcar.org/website/index.php?opt ... =component and
http://vatcar.org/website/index.php?opt ... =ja_purity
If so then the problem is either in your template or a module on your site
