Can we place category list above monthly view?

For users with notebooks or small screens and a busy calendar they will wish immediately to select the events by category. For many users this will involve scrolling to access the category list below or selecting the 'see by category' option at the top and then selecting the specific category. If the category list were above the monthly view, or at least an option to select that, this would involve just one click. Much easier.

Have you considered using the JEvents Legend module - this allows you to show events from a particular category in the monthly calendar or in one of the lists?
