PLEASE - TRANSLATION PACKS HOW TO INSTALL!!??
by upia » Tue Sep 01, 2009 10:36 am
hi jevents-team and forum-users.
i installed jevents 1.52 and it runs perfect!
thanks to dev-team!!!
but it is really a pain in the a** to find language packs!??
all i could find in 2 days is now the .ini-files, that cannot be installed,
there is no readme-file,
in all forum-threads the same question, how to install,
and not really an answer.
Please someone help!
Is there an official way to install another language? (no workaround)
What files i need for this?
and what to do with those?

Here is a Link to the available translations:
http://www.jevents.net/en/jevents-club/downloads/51-translations
Just download what you need and install them using the Joomla!-Installer. That's it.

Hi,
I tried installing the core language packs for Dutch.
There are two files offered.
I have no idea what they mean: one is a full file the other a site file.
I installed both.
I can select the language in the language manager so I presume the core pack is installed.
However when I try to install the jEvents tanslation it tells me the core packs are not installed.
All I want is for JEvents to use the Dutch version for front end and leave all back end in English.
Optionally it would be OK if JEvents in back-end is also Dutch(if there is no way to leave that in English).
What am I doing wrong.
PS I can not see a way to change language to Dutch in the jEvents module.

There is no dutch translation for 1.5.2 (I haven't found it), so I translate the front site.
You can download it on: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3163
