pt-BR TRANSLATION - HOW TO INSTALL IT!!!

Hi folks! I`ve donwloaded the JEvents152-pt_BR Folder.zip file (link to http://www.jevents.net/en/jevents-club/ ... n/download) for pt-BR translation of JEvents frontend and backend parts. I`ve tried to install using install/uninstall basci form of Joomla, but the system gives me a error like this:

JInstaller::install: File '/var/www/joomla/tmp/install_4aafd8df1ce9b/JEvents152-pt_BR Folder/frontend/pt-BR.com_jevents.ini' doesn`t exists.

I don`t know what this error means.

Please, help to install the front and back end pt-BR translation.

Can you try again I fixed the installation package.

I`ve tried again but I have the following error:



* Não foi possível copiar o arquivo selecionado. (in EN - It was not possible to copy the selected file)
* JInstaller::install: Fail to open file: /var/www/joomla/tmp/install_4aaff22ea7a87/JEvents_1.5.2_BR-pt/JEvents152-pt-BR/backend/pt-BR.com_jevents.ini to /var/www/joomla/administrator/language/pt-BR/pt-BR.com_jevents.ini

It could be permission problems???

The folder name inside the .zip file is different from the .zip file name. I changed but it didn`t work either.

See what you can do.

Could be a permission problem - I was able to install this package ok.

Try the one attached. If this doesn't work then unzip the file locally and upload the files to the appropriate joomla language folders

Ok! It didn`t work by installing. I had to unzip to the file folder.

In my language folder there is already a install.xml file and I cant override this file cause the others will crash. How do i unzip this install.xml file for the translation???

Just to know: I have to copy the two folders backend and frontend, and the install.xml to the path /var/www/joomla/language/pt-BR or just in /var/www/joomla/language??

If you download your language pack and unzip it, you should see 2 folders and the xml file.
One folder contains the language files for admin, these files have to be copied to your administrator/language/your_language_folder.

The other folder (site) contains the language files you have to copy to language/your_language_folder in your Joomla root directory.

You do not have to copy the xml-file. This is for installation only. If you copy the files manually,you do not need this file!

Olá, tente este aqui:

é que um dos arquivos de tradução do pacote do site está com nome errado.
ao invéz de "pt-BR-..." está como "fr-FR-..."
e recomendo dezipar o conteúdo e corrigir leves erros como o "segunda-feira" que está em minúsculo ou "Nem uma palavra-chave válida"

When I finish the corrections I will post it here in the forum.
