Upgrade from JEvents 2.2.8 to 3.0.4

Hey Geraint and Team,

I was thinking about installing the stable version 3.0.4 on my site (Joomla 2.5.8).

Maybe I did totally overlook it, but I didn't find any hints/remarks for an upgrade from 2.2.8 to 3.0.4?!

- Is this update done like a normal update (Joomla installer)?
- Anything that I would need to check / migrate manually?
- Are there any JEvents 3.0 language files already (I guess I am going with the english version for a start)?

I will be taking the normal precautions (backup) of course ...

Hello,

Just a simple install via the Joomla! Installer.

Make sure all plugins/components are up to date also

.

As you say a backup is a good idea! It's also a good idea to check if you have any template overrides which may need updating.

Ok, I think it worked fine.

Could not change / add events at first, but clearing the browser cache helped.
