Can't insert an event excuding weekend

I want to create an event over 10 days without the weekend.
I configured it like that:


But it also shows on Saturday and Sunday:


Joomla 2.5.8, jevents 2.2.8

What do i wrong?

you have created a series of overlapping events
1. From 7 - 14 March
2. From 8 - 15 March etc.

You should set the end date to 7th March in your event editing page

Sorry, i don't know what you mean.
It's only one event from March 7 - March 14.
Or did i missunderstand you?

I am saying that is NOT what you have entered - you have created overlapping events each of which is 7 days long.

You should set the end date to 7th March in your event editing page

the end date relates to the first repeat.

Also set the repeats count to 5 and not 1

Do i always have to manualy count the days of an event and put the days into "repeats count"?

No - you could use the 'repeat until' option too.
