Problem with installation of JEvents

Postby Avalon333 » Fri Mar 08, 2013 2:13 pm

Hello,
I downloaded Jevents 2 last version and installed on a joomla 2.5.9 based site.
Installation process worked fine and at the end the configuration page automatically opened as expected but, once I made my configurations I couldn't save the settings because Apply, Save an Close Buttons didn't work at all.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the component but sadly the result is always the same.
So the Jevents configuration page remained open and I simply cannot use the component.
May you advise please?

Thank you
Regards,

Maurizio

Hello Maurizio,

Sorry to hear of your difficulties.

I suspect this may be down to your Editor. Which one do you use?

Many thanks
Tony

Hello Tony,

thank you for your reply.
Actually with this installation (it's a fresh one) I am just using the standard J 2.5 editors (currently enabled CodeMirror).

Regards,

Maurizio

Can you try TinyMCE?

Are you able to get it to work in the backend of Joomla?

Hello Again Tony,

I disabled the editor and it worked! Thank you so much for your suggestion. I will test the component and then, once the website will be ready, we will buy a subscription.

Again thank you very much.

Have a great weekend!

Maurizio

p.s. thanks Geraint! Great support also for free subscribers here. I will spread the word for sure.

I'd like to check this for myself - which version of Joomla are you using?
