Automatically adding events

Hallo,
I installed JEvents and it works fine so far. I'm able to add new events and they show up in the calendar.
The problem is that I want to add a lot of events every month and I have the data for the events in a mysql DB table. For that reason I'd like to have a php-Skript, which automatically adds the events. I already wrote a script which inserts rows in the following DB tables
#__jevents_vevent
#__jevents_repetition
#__jevents_rrule
#__jevents_vevdetail
The entries look to me the same like entries inserted by the JEvents component, when I add a new event.
Unfortunately the events don't show up in the backend and the Calendar.
Are there more DB tables I have to take in account, or is there anything else I have to do?
Thank you
Cheers

Use the CSV import instead - see http://www.jevents.net/jevents-15-topme ... csv-format

Thank you for your reply
I already looked at the csv-import, but then I have to export from my database each time, download the file and upload and import with jevents again.

If you can create an updated ical file automatically from your events, you will be able to set a cronjob in your JEvents server that will pull the events from the ical file each month.
