How can I make a Banner or a thing to see upcoming events?

Hi, is it possible to integrate a banner or anything similar to it into a template so that I can see what events are coming next?
Here it is
http://www.dza.de/veranstaltungen/komme ... ungen.html
but I don't want to have such a list but a small box that is in the footer of the template.
Greetings
Knut

Do you actually have a Joomla site setup yet - this one is Typo3.
With Jevents you can setup the upcoming events as a module and place it anywhere on the page that your template allows.

Hello,
Please read this very carefully:

You need to customise the format string.

did you read the section on conditional formatting in the article http://www.jevents.net/jevents-15-topme ... nts-module - it has a few specific examples that are relevant to your question
