Joomla : 2.5.8
component_com_jevents : 2.2.8
module_mod_virtuemart_cart : 2.0.18a
module_mod_virtuemart_category : 2.0.18a
module_mod_virtuemart_currencies : 2.0.18a
module_mod_virtuemart_manufacturer : 2.0.18a
module_mod_virtuemart_product : 2.0.18a
module_mod_virtuemart_search : 2.0.18a
plugin_editors_jce : 2.3.1 (not enabled)
plugin_search_virtuemart : 2.0.18a
plugin_vmcalculation_avalara : 2.0.10 (not enabled)
plugin_vmcustom_specification : 2.0.18a
plugin_vmcustom_stockable : 2.0.18a
plugin_vmcustom_textinput : 2.0.18a
plugin_vmpayment_authorizenet : 2.0.18a
plugin_vmpayment_klarna : 2.0.18a
plugin_vmpayment_paypal : 2.0.18a
plugin_vmpayment_standard : 2.0.18a
plugin_vmshipment_weight_countries : 2.0.18a
So for whatever reason even though I have searched high and low in permissions and whatever this not posting until approved thing I've read about is, when I create an event it will not show on the site, on the calendar unless I am logged in with an account. At this point I have had to create a log in so clients can view the events. I do not want that to be a necessary step. Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide. i'm sure it's something ridiculously simple.

Hello,
When you are logged in and you can see the events is the url the same?
Is the above everything from our Version Support Forum Information?

It is the same. I also just realized another neat little problem. I logged into the site as a different user than myself (superuser) and I was unable to see the event details as well under the new user. For some reason the only way to see the details is to be logged in as the superuser.
And yes, the above everything was from the support forum info.
Thank you for the quick reply.

Hello,
I suspect you have the JEvents Plugin: Hide Event Details from Non-logged in Users
Installed.
Please look for this in your plugin manager.
Regards
Tony

what access levels do you have in Joomla? Have you deleted the default one with an id=1 by any chance?

It's not in my plug ins (as in there is no JEvents plug-in) and I know I'm not smart enough to go in and start deleting anything. Is there some way I can let you in to swim around in it? Assuming you you are interested of course.

Hi Chrstphrdyer,
Unfortunately that level of support is only provided to club members. As this is a configuration issue we cannot.
Basically you need to check all ACL levels which relate to JEvents.
