Cannot Save Config

If you cannot see this, please enable JEvents project news within it's configuration. Also, if you get a 500 Error, Enable Joomla! Cannot Save Config

Having uploaded and configured I cannot Save and Close. Keep getting this message: 'Config Saved.Please check configuration and save in order to use JEvents'. Using(v2.2.8)

Please logout and login again?
Try again. If this still has not worked leave it about 12 hours and try again?
It is possible you have some caching enabled on your server.

Upgraded to v3.0.3 and this fixed the 'problem'.
