Access Bug??
Forum rules
When requesting support, please copy and paste the 'Version information for Support Forum' from the JEvents Control Panel into your post. If you cannot see this, please enable JEvents project news within it's configuration. Also, if you get a 500 Error, Enable Joomla! Maximum Error Reporting and view the page again, you should now have a more detailed error which will help us to resolve you issue quickly.

For your category if you set Vererbt (inherited) for the registered users in your category does the conflict disappear?

Hi Geraint,
the conflict doesn't appear if I set the category permissions to inherited, but than the "registered" users are allowed to create events in the category and this should be forbidden.

This looks like its a Joomla bug since the categories are created and managed by the Joomla com_categories component - I'll do some investigating.
In the meantime - can you setup the registered_2 group as a new 'branch' and not have it inherit from 'registered' ?

The categories aren't in productive usage jet, so it's not so bad.
