After save, redirect back to month view

Whenever I add an event in the front, it redirects to that event details page. I want it to keep me or redirect me back to the month view page, and specific month I was viewing. How do you do that?

This is hard coded in adminstrator/components/com_jevents/controllers/icalevent.php - we don't redirect to the month calendar since many sites suppress this view because they have hundreds of events per day and so the month calendar uses up too much server time.

This is really confusing. So how do I get it to take me back to where I was in the monthly calendar? http://screencast.com/t/lM65GaQffj . It is such a pain to go through so many steps just to edit events on the front. I should just be able to click in calendar cell, add event, have it close, and keep me in monthly view. When I edit an event, after save, it should take me back to month view. If not, how do I make this happen? This isn't the way any other calendars work so it is very confusing.

As I said you can edit the file adminstrator/components/com_jevents/controllers/icalevent.php and look at the 'save' method and switch the redirect from the event detail to the month.calendar view (as opposed to the day.listevents view).
