Menulink not showing next event

Menulink not showing next event

JEvents v2.2.8
Today: 26.12.2012
Repeating event "HKB", every 2 weeks on Wednesday
Using menulink to JEvents - event details - "HKB"
menulink does not show the next event (28.12.2012) but 30.11.2012
selecting event "HKB" again and saving the menu updates the menu to the next event (28.12.2012).
It will show this eventdate even if we have the 31.12.2012. It only updates if manually selecting "HKB" again and saving the menu.
Is there any trick to automatically update this?
btw: LatestEvents module is working fine, also menulink "Show by category" works correctly.

At present no it is designed to go directly to one particular event.

you're saying that you want the menu item to always point to the next occurring repeat?
