Problem with joomla 2.5 (Error 404)

Hi,
I used jevents 2.2 on my website with joomla 2.5. I want to use the SEO's option "URL SEF" (the first in configuration panel) but for this i must use the php version 5.2.17, but whit that i can't see the jevent component (error 404).
So, i have joomla 2.5, php version is 5.2.17 and the option for SEO (URL SEF) is "on", whith this setting i can't see jevent (in particular the mounth view menu). Can someone help me?

Did you modify your .htaccess file as per the Joomla! documentation for SEF enabling?

yes, i saw a guide on internet.
i modified the line # Options +FollowSymLinks (i add the # before the line) and i renamed the file from htaccess.txt to .htaccess

yes, if you want i can post the error message, but it is in italian

And disabling SEF resolves this?
Check that your menu items are not restricted for a start.

Yes, if i disable the seo's option there is no problem, but the url is dynamic, i would like to have an url friendly
