RSVP Pro Early Bird Discount?

Is it possible with RSVP Pro to offer discounts if payment is made before a certain date? For example, if the event is being held on March 1, is it possible to offer a discount if a person registers before January 1?

This is not possible at present but I could amend the coupon script so that a coupon code would expire after a specified date or possibly add a date to a flat fee type field so that it would only apply after a set date.

I just got RSVP Pro installed so let me play around a little bit with it to see which would make more sense and be easier for my users to implement.
