Hi David,
Not really I'm afraid.
Do you have an error-log file in the Joomla directory?

I have checked the root, each jevents folders and libraries, and I have searched for *.log but I do not have any, let alone an error.log
The various help sites all talk about Joomla creating such things and I have an error log on another of my own sites but how to I get this site to start creating an error.log?
Regards,
David

Hello,
Joomla! Creates a single error_log file no .log in the base folder of Joomla and Joomla administrator folder.
It will only be created if there is a Joomla error.

So if there is no Joomla error log, can we assume there is no Joomla error? If that is the case, what could be causing this?

David

Return to Control Panel

Hello,
Well your legend module is out of date. Please update that and make sure to open the configuration of JEvents in the backend and save that.

OK, I unistalled jevents and reinstalled the latest version (lost all records in the process). Saved the default configuration but received "Cannot load the editor" error message with same result on Modify or Add an event - blank white page with basic message.
Thought I'd check out the Editor - currently using _jckeditor but now loaded the full package.
This cured it! I now have a fully functioning jEvents again, so I thought I'd post this as useful for others. I see many other receive the same blank pages that I was getting, so it seems to be a common problem which perhaps could be resolved by checking out the Editor.
Thanks for your help,
David
