Migrating site from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5

I'm working on a process for us to migrate our Joomla 1.5 site to 2.5. I know there is a process you guys set up for this, but our 2.5 site is not on the same domain as the 1.5 site. Is there a migration script for migrating on two different domains? It looks like the only issue I'm having is getting the JEvents categories in the #__categories table. I can use sp upgrade to get the jevents and jev tables so those are good. Any ideas?

Hello,
You could try and modify the script? But you would be best quickly copying the 2.5 site to a sub folder of the 1.5 site, then run the script and restore the site.
Regards
Tony

Or use an iCal export from the old site and import the events into the new site as a new calendar
