Import setting for DTEND with no specific end time
by sfolkmann » Mon Oct 22, 2012 9:21 am
I am trying to do an import to jevents, and I want to have the event setting JEV_EVENT_NOENDTIME set upon import.
What is the cell data for that setting, when I want to set it in the import csv file..?

Use a date without a time e.g.
DTEND:20121022
DTEND:20121022

There is no concept of no-end time in the iCal specification so you have to simulate it in this way.
checking the code again I think you can probably trick the system using
NOENDTIME:1
in your iCal file - its not standard but JEvents should interpret it correctly.

Where should the NOENDTIME:1 ..?
I tried the DTEND and RRULE setting per event, with no result.

Sorry for being so thickheaded that I didn't figure this one out before replying.
I ofc created a new column with the setting and it worked perfectly.
Thank you for your help and time.
