User Email not cloaked

Hi,

JEvents 2.2.7
Joomla 2.5.6

If I click on the date in the calendar and the page that opens displays all the events for that date, with the username beside them.

The link is like http://localhost/events/day.listevents/2012/10/16/

If I hover over the username the email is shown.
I have User Emails set to hidden in Joomla.

Is there an option the JEvents that needs to be ticked to hide them.

View 'By' No Yes
View mail No Yes
View 'Hits' No Yes
View Repeat and time No Yes

Sorry but that's not correct, that for emailing the page.

Geraint will reply today, with a reason or fix as to why the cloak does not work.

James is actually correct - the option he highlights disables converting the creator's name into a link.

The user is referring to a list view not the event detail page, so although correct is very misleading.

Still, this does not explain why the email is not cloaked?

Thanks that worked.

Should the email not be cloaked either way, if view email is Yes and Joomla is cloaking email.

the Joomla email cloaking plugin is being called before outputting the address - not sure why its not working on your site. Is the joomla cloaking plugin enabled?
