Did you follow the upgrade process described here http://www.jevents.net/downloads/category/71-jevents-22 - see "Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 Migration"

Hi Geraint,
I just executed the steps.
At step 8, I tried to execute the script http://develop.gergemwoerden.nl/upgradejevents.php.
After this, the site develop.gergemwoerden.nl appears.
When trying develop.gergemwoerden.nl/jupgrade ad clicking in the calender, the next error messages appears:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/users/gergeftp/develop.gergemwoerden.nl/jupgrade/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 383
Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in /home/users/gergeftp/develop.gergemwoerden.nl/jupgrade/components/com_jevents/libraries/datamodel.php on line 697
What did I Wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Cor van Binsbergen, the Netherlands

Hello,
Did you edit the file accordingly?
Furthermore, make sure your site is not running in a debug mode or high error reporting.
Regards
Tony

In the file upgradejevents.php there's the line
In my case this is correct, because the old site is develop.gergemwoerden.nl and the new one is develop.gergemwoerden.nl/jupgrade.
As far as I know my site is not in debug mode.
---
Step 9 says:
I saw nothing like this.
- Code: Select all
define("NEWSITEPATH", "jupgrade");
In my case this is correct, because the old site is develop.gergemwoerden.nl and the new one is develop.gergemwoerden.nl/jupgrade.
As far as I know my site is not in debug mode.
---
Step 9 says:
All being well the script will migrate the data, creating categories automatically with default permissions and show:
migrated categories
migrated main tables
updated category references
reset access levels
migrated user permissions
migrated categories
I saw nothing like this.

What I saw as my output?
After calling upgradejevents.php (http://develop.gergemwoerden.nl/upgradejevents.php), the browser shows the old site (develop.gergemwoerden.nl). Th 'URL-bar' still shows 'http://develop.gergemwoerden.nl/upgradejevents.php'. There was no message about converting the events.

Then this suggests you haven't uploaded the upgradejevents.php script to the root of your old site.

This is very stupid. I saw it this morning in the root of the old site.
Now, I've put it back and everything is okay!!
Thanks a lot and please, remove this topic.
