Hello,
How do you mean set a remote calendar? Are you wanting to import events from a remote calendar?

You can't add new events into a remote calendar via the JEvents create event process since the remove calendar is the MASTER and JEvents is the SLAVE for this particular calendar. So next time you update the calendar it will delete all the JEvents created events.
That is why you must have a native calendar and the default calendar for creating events.
