New to Joomla and JEvents, but I am trying to figure out how to have a link directly to a specified category event list page. Tried searching and found some stuff about menus and such, but can't seem to figure it out. Please Help!!

Hello,
Go to Menu's in the administration Area of Joomla,
Click Add new Item,
Then Menu Type Item, Select (Under the Jevents Area) List by Category.
If you are wanting to show an actual Category list, you can use the Jevents Legends module.
Thanks
Tony

What version of Jevents are you using?
I will see if I can replicate the issue you appear to be having with showing all category's.
The Legends module shows all category's within a module you can click each category which takes you to a list page with all events within that category.

Just installed jevents 2.0 on Joomla 1.7.3
Calendar isn't on a published site yet, but the link it creates is
index.php?option=com_jevents&view=cat&layout=listevents under the menu item config page and has listed a ID of 472. This is what I should be using correct. Probably isn't a problem with jevents, probably me missing a check box or doing something wrong as this is my first bout w/ jevents and/or joomla.
