SOLVED - Registered users are denied access to create events
by cork » Fri Nov 11, 2011 6:45 pm
Hi,
I have public access to the component Allowed and public access to create an event is Denied. I have registered user access to the component Allowed and to create events Allowed, but it says Conflict next to the Allowed part. Under Calculated Settings, it says Not Allowed (Locked) for registered users to create events.
I want the public to be able to see the calendar, but only registered users can create/edit events. How can I accomplish this?
Thank you.

Hello,
Ignore the Access for now, leave it as inherant.
Go to the Registered User group and set to the following:
Create events: Allowed
Edit Events: Allowed
Publish/Manage Events: Allowed
Regards
Tony
