SOLVED - Add my own custom layout

Hi,
I would like to add my own layout file to JEvents but it will not let me do it! I get an error message
500 - View class not found [class, file]: ehaatmonth, /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/ehaat/components/com_jevents/views/ehaat/month/view.html.php
I have checked and the view.html.php file is in the right place but it just doesn't like it!
Can anyone help please?
Many thanks

Can you provide more info about the files you have created and the code.
Sometimes that error is related to a letter not in caps.

The file is correct - its probably the class name in the file that is not.
